About the Role

Working as part of the P2P Program team, the Invoice Management SME will be responsible for the implementation of the following SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Ariba modules for the invoice management process: SAP S/4 Hana core ERP platform; Ariba Invoice Professional; SAP Open Invoice Conversion Services; SAP Ariba Documentation Automation


We are seeking an experienced accounts payable specialist to work with other P2P Specialists and the business stakeholders to design and successfully deliver new e-invoicing solutions.

This role is offered as a 24 month secondment/ fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will need to be able to travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Accounts Payable (AP) teams and key business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and propose system solutions
  • Establish the Requirements Traceability Matrix for Invoice Management in SAP Ariba through to Accounts Payable in SAP S/4 Hana
  • Gather and document functional design requirements solutions; 
  • Engage with purchasing SME's and other critical stakeholders to align integrated solutions;
  • Solve complex problems, and work with Solution Architects to propose solutions;
  • Produce design documentation based on business requirements and processes;
  • Provide input to Supplier Enablement strategies;
  • Perform a key role in the various testing cycles
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships to support the Change Management activities
  • Provide support to the P2P project team where required

About You

  • Thorough understanding of AP practices and functional business requirements and processes
  • Experience working with SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA
  • Prior experience deploying an e-invoicing solution would be advantageous
  • Experience with electronic invoice methods and workflows
  • Ability to quickly ramp-up knowledge of Ariba's Invoice Professional solution
  • An ability to work under pressure and to firm and short timelines
  • Strong and effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Prior experience with MS Visio, Project Online and SharePoint is highly desirable
